Changing the world forever for better

The competition can’t end —
til everyone is caught up with everyone.

But the leaders keep accelerating
as much as they can
& both the leaders and those chasing them
keep propagating
sometimes faster, sometimes slower
than they murder one another individually
or in reckless commerce or wars.

Whether you do unto others
as you would have them do unto you
or you take every advantage you can take
& leave your mess for others to deal with —
you compete with those who exploit you
or will be in a position to do so
if you don’t overtake them
& here come those who would overtake you
wherever you live & do what you do —
in prehistory or up-to-date or in the future
China or Russia or the USA
everywhere people have established habitat
steppes, skyscrapers, village workshops, farms —
kitchens, military bases, desks, cathedrals.

If you stop competing, you can catch your breath —
but eventually, everything else you need
will be too expensive for you to get & use —
carefully or carelessly —
so all you have is the mean time
in which to do
what your competitors won’t acknowledge.

But some of those isolated
by their struggle — like yours —
excluded for insisting on including everyone
in the cost/benefit analysis & allocation —
to the extent anyone controls the allocation —
& insisting on what & who everybody really is —
may relish, enjoy, incorporate —
delight in cooperating with, gain advantage —
from what you manage to make & deliver
so they — &, so, you — may win.
